Voice Awards: Fighting Stigma, Hollywood Style

It's been a long time coming, but Hollywood has finally rolled out the red carpet for the fight against stigma -- through the annual Voice Awards, presented this year at Paramount studios in Los Angeles. Winners this year included Howie Mandel, the film Canvas, and several NAMI members.

Building Community, Taking Action
October 5-11, 2008

Designated by the U.S. Congress in 1990, Mental Illness Awareness Week, MIAW, is NAMI's premiere public education event. MIAW is celebrated in communities across the country during first week of October each year. NAMI's MIAW 2008 Tool Kit is now online and offers resources, ideas, and items to assist grassroots efforts.
