Our next NAMI Kenosha support groups will be on Thursday February  12th and Thursday February 26th at Paul's Lutheran Church on the corner of 88th St and 39th Ave.  We will have 2 support groups at 6:00.  One support group is for people that are coping with a mental illness, a second support group is for the family members and friends of those coping with a mental illness.

After the February 26th support groups, we will have our annual meeting at 7:30. All of our members are urged to attend this meeting. It will include a financial report, a look back at what we accomplished in 2014 and a look ahead to 2015. We will also be electing officers for 2015.

Another business item for February 26th will be a vote on a revision of our by-laws. NAMI national has developed a new set of requirements for all locals so we will be looking at changes that need to be made in our by-laws.

The Spanish Family-to-Family class that was scheduled to start on January 24th has been delayed because of its small enrollment. If anyone is still interested in taking the class, please call us as soon as possible. It would be held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. It will be held at Wilson School, 4520 33rd Ave. Please call NAMI Kenosha, 652-3606 to enroll.
