NAMI Greater Milwaukee is the Community’s Voice on Mental Illness

Just a few reasons to become a member:

  • We advocate for insurance parity and affordable access to health care services.
  • NAMI advocates for safe, affordable housing for those with mental illnesses.
  • We work with law enforcement and healthcare workers to improve interactions with consumers.
  • Your membership makes our “voice” louder as we speak with politicians and others about ways to improve the lives of those with mental illnesses.
  • The number of dues paying members we have can impact the amount of money we qualify for on various grants.
  • Your voice matters.

Press the appropriate button and you'll be taken to our secure web payment site; once there, please make sure to write what your transaction is (membership, donation, Walk donation etc.) in the "Special Instructions" box.

All members receive our quarterly newsletter, NAMI Wisconsin's newsletter, "The Iris" and e-newsletters from NAMI National.

  • Provide support groups that help countless family members and consumers;
  • Provide educational programs that provide insight and coping strategies for individuals who have mental illness and their support networks;
  • Allow us to present Crisis Intervention Training to police officers, deputies, social workers, counselors and others;
  • Keep the office stocked with supplies, print the many pamphlets, flyers and mailings that we send out.
