NAMI SIGNATURE EDUCATION COURSES
NAMI Family-to-Family is an educational course for family, caregivers and friends of individuals living with mental illness.
Meets for 12 sessions, 2.5 hours each, free to participant.
Designed for family members and caregivers of adults of individuals living with mental illness.
Taught by trained family members of individuals living with mental illness.
Incorporates presentations, discussion and exercises.
Designated and Evidence Based Practice in 2013 by SAMHSA.

NAMI Basics is an educational program for parents and caregivers of children and adolescents living with mental illnesses. It covers the fundamentals of caring for yourself, for your family and for your child.
Meets for six sessions, 2.5 hours each, free to participant.
Designed for parents and other family caregivers of children and adolescents living with mental illness.
Taught by a team of trained teachers who are family caregivers of individuals who developed symptoms of mental illness as children
Provides critical information and strategies related to caregiving.
Incorporates presentations, discussion and interactive exercises.
NAMI In Our Own Voice (IOOV) unmasks mental illness, using speaker stories to illustrate the individual realities of living with mental illness. You gain a better understanding of what it is like to live with mental illness and stay in recovery. NAMI In Our Own Voice can change attitudes, preconceived notions and stereotypes regarding mental illness.
Sixty to 90 minutes long, open to the general public, free of charge.
Led by a team of two trained presenters who are living in recovery from mental illness.
