All meetings are free of charge.

Friends and Family
Support group for family and friends of persons with mental illness.

Date/Time: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m (the door will be locked after 6:30pm)

Peer directed peer support group for persons living with mental illness.

Date/Time: 2nd & 4th Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m
Location: St. Mary’s Kempf Bipolar Awareness Center in the Rehab Building on the 3rd floor

Mental Health America (Vanderburgh County) Support Groups

All meetings are free of charge.

Anxiety & Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Led by mental health professional, focusing on support, education and problem-solving for those with anxiety and OCD. Meets 1st and 3rd Wed/month 7:00pm - 8:30pm at Deaconess Hospital Resource Center, 600 Mary Street in Evansville.

Bipolar/Manic-Depressive Disorder
Open meetings for families and supportive friends and those with Bipolar Disorder to come together for discussion and sharing. Meets: 7:00 pm every 1st and 3rd Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital, 3700 Mary St., Evansville. Rehabilitation Institute Building, 3rd floor - through double doors, 1st room on left. Survivors of Suicide
Meets: 6:30 pm every 1st and 3rd Monday at Methodist Temple, 2109 Lincoln Ave. (Entrance on Kelsey St. - Stairs/Elevators to the Left, 2nd Floor, 3rd Room on Right). A safe and non-judgmental place to share with and learn from other people who have lost a loved one to suicide.
