Mental Health Recovery Through the Friendship Network

Since 1990 the Friendship Network has been a haven for those struggling to overcome the isolation of mental illness. Join us for an evening with staff and Friendship Network members who will share how this special program works and what a difference it's made in the lives of its members.
The meeting will take place at 7:30 pm in the Sloman Auditorium at The Zucker Hillside Hospital – 266th Street and 76th Avenue, Glen Oaks, NY. The Caring and Sharing support group meets at 6:00 pm.

The Clozapine Clinic: A model for addressing the medical needs of those on psychiatric medications
Robert Laitman, MD, Bronx-Westchester Medical Group
Dr. Laitman is an internist with a special interest in treating patients on Clozapine. He will share his experience working closely with patients over an extended period, managing side effects similar to those experienced on standard antipsychotics as well as ones more common with Clozapine.
