In Loving Memory of Jonathan A. Carter

Welcome to my personal web page for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of all those affected by mental illness.

We adopted our son Jonathan Carter at the age of 3.5 years. He was bi-polar, a victim of fetal alcohol syndrome, and suffered from hyperactivity. Every day was a struggle for him as he always told us he never felt that he fit in anywhere. We lost Jonathan on February 7, 2011. I have created this fundraising page because NAMI, and the work they do, is very important to us. It is too late for Jonathan, but it is not too late for the millions of mentally ill people in our country.

Donating through this page is easy, fast and secure. This is our way of honoring our son, Jonathan Carter and the gifts that he brought to our lives. He was a very giving person. He never hesitated to help a friend or stranger in need. I hope that the money raised here will help other people like Jonathan to live a long and healthy life.

Any amount will make a difference for NAMI.

Both NAMI and my family appreciate your donation.

Thank you for your support.
