In Loving Memory of Wayne Alan Adams

Welcome to Wayne Adams' memorial webpage for the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Wayne's zestful spirit touched so many lives. Wayne never met a stranger and had a big smile and thoughtful compliment for everyone he encountered in his many travels and adventures. Thank you for remembering Wayne and honoring his life through your support for NAMI, the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of all those affected by mental illness.

Wayne's family and friends created this fundraising page because NAMI, and the work they do, is very important to us. Wayne enjoyed participating in NAMI-Fayette County's social group, meetings and events.

Donating through this page is easy, fast and secure.

Any amount will make a difference for NAMI, but please try to give generously.

Both NAMI and Wayne's family appreciate your donation.

Wayne enriched our lives tremendously! We shared some good times and great laughs. We will never forget him and we will all miss him!

I canít help but smile when I think of all the fun times I shared with Wayne. Every day with Wayne was an adventure and we had some really great times visiting New York City, seeing the Braves play and just running to the grocery store. Wayne would sometimes tell me that I needed a Xanax and that was a reminder to take a deep breath and chill out. Wayne lived in the moment and enjoyed life and everyone he encountered. I learned a lot from Wayne and will keep him in my heart forever.

"Uncle Wayne" (as he was known around our house) meant so much to Laura and all of us. He will be greatly missed.

We would see Wayne over the years and he always made us laugh, such an awesome smile. We could feel the love when Jean, Kayla and Kyle spoke of Wayne...we loved our Wayne stories! God Bless all of you..don't ever forget Wayne lives on in each one of you. Love, The Miranda Family Panama City, Florida
