National Toll-Free Teleconference Opportunity: Latino Experiences of Self-Help
The STAR (Support, Technical Assistance, and Resources) Center, a consumer supporter technical assistance center funded by the Center for Mental Health Services, is pleased to invite you to attend a national toll-free teleconference, Latino Experiences in Self-Help. This is the first of the STAR Center National Teleconference Series: Experiences of Self-Help in Diverse Communities.
The purpose of the STAR Center is to enhance and improve Self-Help in Diverse Communities to promote Recovery. In keeping with this, STAR will be offering this initial conference call on Latino Experiences in Self-Help in both English and Spanish.

Our host for the call will be Gilberto Romero, recognized both nationally and internationally as one of the foremost leaders in the Consumer Self-Help Movement. Gilberto hosts his own radio talk show in New Mexico, and has contributed greatly to ensuring the Latino perspective about recovery is heard.
