Several events of interest to people of faith have been scheduled during this year’s NAMI National Convention in
Workshop - “Mental Illness as a Spiritual Journey" - by Rev. Susan Gregg-Schroeder
Friday, June 30th, 9:00 am - 10:15 am
Rev. Gregg-Schroeder, much better known as Susan, is the author of the outstanding book, In The Shadow of God's Wings, which has an accompanying group study guide. She has been featured in a number of excellent videos (e.g. Creating Caring Congregations and Shadow Voices: Finding Hope in Mental Illness), and has provided a great deal of guidance concerning ministry with people living with a mental illness through her printed literature and plenary talks at conferences throughout the United States.

Once again FaithNet NAMI will have free materials (e.g. videos, DVDs, and written materials), which are designed to give assistance in establishing or expanding ministry with people living with a mental illness and their families in congregations.
Visiting this exhibit table is a great place to meet with others that have a common interest in outreach to the Faith Communities.
Interfaith Worship Service
Sunday, July 2nd, 9:30 am -- 10:30 am
This yearly service is a wonderful way to end the NAMI conference and to receive inspiration through the opportunity to worship God with others.
