Co-Occurring and Homeless Activities Branch SAMHSA has created the new Co-occuring and Homeless Activites branch to create a vision of systems of care for persons experiencing co-occurring disorders and persons who are homeless. Two critical ways they are working to accomplish this are by issuing grants and sponsoring other projects to advance the field. They also provide grantees and the field with state-of-the-art technical assistance to help individuals and entities to address homelessness and co-occurring disorders (COD), two public health issues that warrant significant attention.
