SAMHSA Sponsors Faith and Community Summit

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) sponsored a “Faith and Community Summit” hosted by the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) in Washington, DC on January 20, 2004. Highlights included opening remarks from Robert Polito, Director, Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services; a luncheon keynote speech by Mary Ann Solberg, Deputy Director, White House Office of National Drug Control Policy; and an address by A. Kathryn Power, Director, Center for Mental Health Services, SAMHSA, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
