The beauty and culture of Seattle and its surrounding area are not to be missed. Consider arriving early for the convention or extending your trip afterward to visit some of Seattle’s favorite getaways.  Here are some links to tours and guides to help you plan your visit:

Experience Seattle on Double Decker buses!

NAMI has partnered with Gray Line Seattle to offer convention attendees a 35% discount off Gray Lines’ exclusive Hop On Hop Off City Tour.  Learn More about the tour. When you are ready to book your tour, click here and use Promotional Code: Nami2012 to receive the special discount for convention attendees. Promotion is good for booking between June 23rd through July 2nd.  Note: The Double Decker Bus Tour has a daily pickup point at the Sheraton Seattle at 8:55am.

Points of interest on tour include: Pike Place Market, Seattle's Space Needle, Pioneer Square, Seattle Center, Experience Music Project, Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Aquarium, Seattle's Water Front, Seattle's Shopping District, and Pacific Science Center.

Ride the Ducks of Seattle!

We have also partnered with Ride the Ducks of Seattle. They offer discounted rates of just $26 per person plus tax to NAMI Convention attendees. The rates will be available from June 24th until July 1.

There are two ways to take advantage of the special NAMI discount:

  • Tickets may be reserved in advance under the special online booking code. Important: we highly recommend this option as summer months are very busy and duck tours are filled up quickly.
  • To book your ticket online, click here and enter the booking code: NAMI
  • Based on ticket availability, attendees may also purchase their ticket the day they would like to ride and present their NAMI convention name badge at the ticket windows to receive the discount.

Experience Music Project Museum!

The Frank Gehry-designed Experience Music Project offers 140,000 square feet of interactive exhibits, pop culture, live music venues, and more.

EMP Museum is dedicated to the exploration of creativity and innovation in popular music. By blending interpretative, interactive exhibition with cutting-edge technology, EMP Museum captures and reflects the essence of rock 'n' roll, its roots in jazz, soul, gospel, country and the blues, as well as rock's influence on hip-hop, punk and other recent genres. Visitors can view rare artifacts and memorabilia and experience the creative process by listening to musicians tell their own stories.

Discount options available for NAMI Convention attendees. Click here to purchase the special disounted tickets online.
