Peer-to-Peer Grants 2009

We are pleased to announce that NAMI Peer-to-Peer Mentor Training Grants (in the amount of $5,000) are now available to State Organizations interested in implementing or expanding the Peer-to-Peer program.  This request for proposals will result in the selection of 7 sites to hold Peer-to-Peer Mentor Trainings using the new edition of the Peer-to-Peer curriculum to be available in early 2010.  Funding for these grants is made possible by our program sponsor, AstraZeneca.

Twenty eight state NAMI organizations currently have mentors trained to provide the NAMI Peer-to-Peer curriculum in their communities.

Due to the high level of interest in Peer-to-Peer Mentor Training Grants, we will utilize a competitive application process for state NAMI organizations.  If you are interested in bringing this program to your state, we encourage you to complete the application process.

Download the application and W-9 Forms below for the application.

For more information contact:

Sarah O'Brien, Director, Peer-to-Peer Recovery Education Programs at (703) 516-7226 or via e-mail.
