In Loving Memory of Richard Bryce Lyon

Richard Bryce Lyon passed away April 30, 2007 from complications from Bipolar Disorder. He was a very caring and giving person that everyone enjoyed being around. He had a love for life that was rarely seen.

Riki aka Bryce was a huge supporter of NAMI. He had a deep desire to be a NAMI educator. He loved teaching others of his disorder and how to help people with mental disorders. He talked with groups of police officers to help them understand how to better deal with those that had a mental disorder. He tried hard to make a big difference in so many people's lives and would be very grateful to have help from others to raise money for this wonderful cause which is the National Alliance for Mental Illness.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness is the nation's largest mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of all those affected by mental illness. NAMI's Advocacy is more important now more than ever, as we see services for those with mental illness dwindling. I have created this fundraising page because NAMI, and the work they do, is very important to me. They have an active local support group that meets regularly for people affected directly by such illnesses and for the people who are related to, or care about them.

Thank you so much for your support and love towards a wonderful man and a great organization. Also look into the NAMI-WALK on September 24th 2011 in Taylorsville, Ut.
