Megan Runs 4 Mental Illness

Hi! My name is Megan and I am running for mental illness!! I have Bipolar Disorder and after many years of struggling to gain control of my symptoms, I began running about one year ago, and now I love running! It also helps me immensely with controlling my symptoms! In 2013, I ran a couple of 5ks, 10ks, and even a half marathon! I am not the fastest, but I always finish :) For 2014, I am committing to run a race a month, and am seeking donations for NAMI, to help those struggling with mental illness. This is my fundraising page, and I also have a facebook page at You can check it out to find out more about my races and about me!

NAMI is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of all those affected by mental illness. They provide free classes, education, and support to people with mental illness. They also have programs designed to eliminate the stigma of mental illness.

Donating to NAMI through this page is safe and secure.

Please donate to NAMI so that people like me will know there is HOPE! I am living proof! Thank you!

Sincerely, Megan Roach :)
