In Loving Memory of Kelly Crosson & Jennie Besch

Welcome to my personal web page for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of all those affected by mental illness. I have created this fundraising page in honor of Kelly Crosson and Jennie Besch. Two wonderful women who lost their fight with mental illness. No child should have to lose their mother to this disease. We can change the cycle and stigma of mental illness through organizations like NAMI.

Kelly's daughter Jewel wrote these beautiful thoughts about her mother shortly after her passing: "Nobody said life would be easy. It throws at us the most challenging obstacles sometimes. It's hard to believe this right now, but as I have always believed, there is a reason for everything. Mom, I know you wanted to be here for all of us. I have never met a person who cared so much for her children unconditionally. Unfortunately, we can not win every battle life throws at us. I want everyone to remember my mom as an individual who heroically fought a battle, and gave it all that she had. Her legacy will never die, and she will forever be with us in our memories. It breaks our heart to know that she had to fight this battle, but we will find peace in the situation. I love you mom more than you could ever know and will always have an everlasting love for you. Enjoy yourself up there and know that we will all be okay, because you're okay."
